CRS Community Service – How we can help

After a number of questions from members and a good deal of research, we want to respond to inquiries about potential activities regarding face masks.

We researched a number of programs and found that there was a great variety of information, patterns and opinions on its utility. We have touched base with several health care organizations and institutions and, at this point, do not have a recipient for such a project. Our chapter will continue to focus on our regular charitable programs in the weeks and months ahead—our work for Providence New Beginnings maternity cinch bags and the Passage Quilt Project for Providence St. Vincent. .

Individuals, of course, may opt to work on a face mask (or other Covid19-specific) project, just as we have historically had members working with a variety of charitable organizations. We support and celebrate this continuing expression of the generosity and kindness of our people.

Visit Community Service for cinch bags instructions. We are anxious to see what your creativity produces in these strange times!

Everyone – stay well, stay home and stay at the sewing machine!
