September 2016 Quarterly with Robin Bolton

Robin Bolton will join us for our September Quarterly Meeting.  She will present a trunk show from 10 AM – 12 PM.  She will also have DVDs and patterns available for sale. The trunk show is free and open to all members.

Then join us in the afternoon for a workshop.

Let Robin teach you garment industry sewing techniques for creating better, faster results with home equipment. Learn ways for handling bias edges, curves, hems, yokes, setting pockets, flat felled seams and handling fabric. Discover shortcuts for pattern preparation, notching and cutting and master the industrial secrets to setting zippers. Create samples for future reference while building confidence all without the use of pins or basting.

Robin Bolton is a Graduate Northern Illinois University with a degree in Fashion Merchandising. She is an alterations expert and an award winning designer. She has specialized in formalwear during her 30 years in the Fashion/Sewing Industry but has a wide variety of experience in the sewing field. She has owned a bridal store and an alterations storefront as well as taught classes on the college level. Robin is also a certified Islander Sewing Systems instructor.

Saturday, September 13
12 PM – 4 PM (buffet lunch from 12-1 is included)

Class fee:

$35 for ASG members
$40 for non-members

Includes lunch and kit fee.

There will be no refunds issued.  However, another person can go in your place if you find you cannot attend.
